A New Family Tradition!

This year I thought I would start something new. I want to start carving a pumpkin every year. Since it's pretty hard for Emily to actually carve the pumpkin right now I'll just carve it while she paints one. I was really fun but man is it messing cleaning out the pumpkin or what. We still had a good time. Can't wait until next year. For some reason my computer put the pictures wrong. I mean their in the wrong order. Oh Well, here are a few pictures. This is the finished product of my pumpkin carving abilities.
Here is Emily wonderful artistic ability. She did a face on all four sides of the pumpkin. One for herself, one for me, Bert and Mimi.

Me hard at work. It takes a lot of concentration.

My little artist hard at work.

This picture was suppose to be at the top.

I love traditions!! The kids have been on me to carve their pumpkins. I guess we better do it...no much time before Halloween.

Sweet pics!! I have let my kiddos paint pumpkins ever since Lily was two years old. We are doing ours tonight, I cannot believe it has taken me almost all of October to get their pumpkins painted! Man, I have been LAZY with this pregnancy!!!!

Great pumpkins! You did a good job! We get a pumpkin for each kiddo and let them draw the faces on them, then we carve them out. The boys love to scoop out the "guts"! It's a great tradition and lots of fun!

That looked fun. I can't believe you've never carved a pumpkin with your daughter before!

I was afraid to ask Emily which face was me, but you both did a great job!

Great job! They look great. We too did that for the first time this year, maybe I'll get those pics posted before Halloween is over.
